Women Work Conference 2014

Balance

Yesterday, Women Work members from across the UK and Ireland descended on the conference centre at Aston University in Birmingham for the annual Women Work conference. Coinciding with International Women’s Day last weekend, the theme for the conference was ‘Balance’ and there were a range of talks and workshops to give great tips on how to achieve a great work/life balance.

Susan McNeill – Global quality and compliance manager for Corporate Services

What’s your role at Sodexo and how long have you been doing it?

I work almost exclusively on an international pharmaceutical account, driving commonality across all the pharmaceutical accounts.

I am home-based and travel 50% of the week so my work varies enormously – today I’m at the Avalon site in Bristol. I can be in Cheshire one day then down in London at Sodexo HQ the next. We have four sites in Sweden so have to go to there to manage things, and China’s looking more and more likely.
